Clark County Central Office Relocation Renovation

Clarke County School District has operated their County offices out of several different locations around the county for several years. As the staff has grown, it became clear that one central location would benefit the employees and the public as well. After investigating several properties, Piedmont College became the obvious choice. Piedmont’s campus layout and schedule of relocating coincided with the County’s needs and schedule.

The existing classrooms were subdivided and renovated into offices. The existing Chapel was repurposed as the Board Room and Professional Development Center. A new elevator was installed to allow communication between the floors of adjacent buildings. A new lobby welcomes the public, and also provides security. All building systems and roof were updated.
