Empower College and Career Center

LPB accepted the challenge of converting the 50 year old Jackson County High School building into a new, state-of-the-art learning facility for Empower College and Career Center. The project required development of a very detailed master plan for the entire campus. Significant portions of work had to be performed while the High School was still in session. Phase One of the project included the renovation and modification of existing classroom wings, transformation of the existing Gymnasium and Locker Rooms into Student Center and CTAE Labs (Advanced Technology and Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Health Science Labs and Surgical Suite).

Phase Two included renovation of Entrepreneurial Lab, Construction Lab and Welding Lab as well as addition of new large covered outdoor work area and general renovation of the classroom wings.
