Aloft Asheville

The Aloft, located in the hub of Asheville’s downtown area was designed by customizing Starwood’s brand program to the local environment. Elements were ‘warmed’ up for a more natural color palette against the bright pops of colorful pillows, artwork and graphics. The two-story Lobby boasts a custom chandelier made of bronze and semi-precious stones crafted by a local artist as well as a ‘braille’ wall that is touchable to guests and will patina over time. A skyline of the Blue Ridge Mountain chain hangs above the hotel’s beds to provide guests a taste of local art and the area’s best attribute – the mountain skyline. The skyline can also be enjoyed from Aloft’s roof top pool and lounge. LPB Interiors also designed a custom parking garage wayfinding package that guides hotel and city guests throughout its multiple floors.
