Kimpton Hotel Arras

Known as a historic landmark, Asheville’s 19-story BB&T Office Building is being converted into a full-service boutique hotel with two restaurants and 54 luxury condominiums. The mixed use project will remain the tallest building in Asheville with subtle nods to its 1920’s roots of the Art Deco era found in the hotel’s renovated exterior as well as in supporting elements of its interior design. In keeping with Asheville’s eclectic mix of culture, the nods to Art Deco will be woven together to form a colorful tapestry of modern mountain furnishings, natural finishes and local artwork. The hotel, restaurant and condominium projects are designed to be a melting pot of peoples from all walks of life. It will be a place where everyone can come together to enjoy the peaceful mountain environment and rich culture that Asheville has to offer.
